"The Doria Hotel was a pleasant surprise for us considering it is not often cited as one of the top places to stay in Bodrum/Bitez. While the hotel is located about 1 km above the seashore, we appreciated the quietness of our abode and the very easy access to downtown and the beach areas through the free shuttle service provided by the hotel. The rooms are large and well maintained, with the among the best toiletries and in-room amenities one could expect. "

"Very nice hotel. Good location to be based for exploring the area. Good views to the sea, but not on the beach. Probably a good thing as the beach is very crowded and noisy (loud music etc). This is a relaxing place, good to get away from the bustle of the beach and town centre. You have to be prepared for a short car journey or 15 min walk to get to the sea (where the hotel has a private beach area) the tranquillity and views of the location compensate for that. The alternative appears to be out of town resorts, which are a long way from anything. This is a good balance between being in the town, but not too close to the crowds. The pool is very nice. Good size, very clean, good quality wooden furniture with nice cotton cushions. Staff were all good and very helpful. The main restaurant for dinner also have wonderful views of the sea and the hills. Breakfast also by the pool with nice views. Good selection, particularly the fresh squeezed orange juice, other fresh fruits, fresh breads, omelettes (don't expect to get bacon/pork but that is going to be hard to find I expect). Overall, excellent. Ask for a room with a view, which most it looks like."

"Perfect! Highly recommend! Amazing personnel, food, drinks, beach, music, location and entertainment! My mother and I (Alexandra and Natalia from Moscow, Russia) have spent great nine days at Manuela hotel. All people working in this hotel are very, very nice and treat guests very well. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at - and I have travelled a lot. The beach is great with the sand ground convenient for walking inside the sea which is good for everybody, especially kids. In the evening you can spend great time in the Temple bar listening to good music and eating really tasty food. There is a bus stop and a supermarket close to the hotel, which is convenient. The hotel arranges transfer from the airport and back at a good price. The rooms are clean and fresh. The territory is clean and covered with flowers. You can take books to read at the reception for free, which is amazing. The swimming pool is great for spending time with kids. Hope to come here again next year!"
