Pro - Value for money,location, cleanest, staff politeness, good breakfast, very relaxing view of the 11 floor Sky Terrace almost 360 degrees. Con - l stay at level 2 got to move down and up few steps of stairs to get to the room. Beside the stairs there is a slide, which I'll find it very dangerous if people are not careful. That slide cannot be used for push wheelchair or baby pram. It's too steep. Wish they change to normal stairs. Lastly the bathroom shower tray water don't flow off fast enough, tray alway flooded with water.

As my first time staycation at Biz Hotel with old aged parents, I feel this hotel it's good for my family. It has the nearest food court near my hotel, nearest outlet to buy pizza and all the buffet was scrumptious. Staff was helpful, friendly and polite. Hotel was very clean. My three days staycation was a good one. I will definitely come back for this hotel. Highly recommend!

The hotel is very clean, the staff service is very satisfying, the breakfast is delicious, the food court in front of the hotel is very large and has a variety of food. It is close to Grand Mall Batam, only 3 minutes from the hotel. Will stay at Biz Hotel again on the next visit to Batam.
Ageing Hotel”
Overall the hotel is pleasant enough to stay in. Check-in was quite smooth. The need to collect deposit of IDR100,000 is not neccessary for Non-Smoking Room. At the end of the day, the room was used previously by other patrons who smoked. The front desk staff and the doorman are very pleasant people. Smiley and polite! Going up to the room, there are only 2 lifts. Lifts are pretty small for the hotel size. It is a shared lift for both patrons and staff. To go up to your room, you need to tap your card on the card reader on the lift panel. Thinking it is secured, the downside is that the staircase are not secured. Meaning, anybody can just go up to the room level via the staircase even if they do not have excess to the lift. The room 717 was decently spacious and comfortable. But something on the chairs that made my body itch after every time i sat on them. The room has a fridge (something spilled that causes the rancid smell on the cabinet holding the fridge). A proper coffee/tea set with 2 bottled waters. Lights and aircons are good. The shower room is a bit old, but quite maintained well. Water pressure not that good for shower. They provided with a 2 boxes of 2 toothbrushes each, small bottles of shower gel and shampoo, a couple of soap, cotton bud, shower cap. The room has a bathtub. The bed is queen sized. All is good except that the Mattress cover and duvet cover have stains. We were shocked to discover out mattress cover got a big stain (seemingly like blood stain) on it. Because we checked in very late on that day, we decided to sleep through and have housekeeping changed the sheets the next day. We had housekeeping to change the beddings the next day, but the whole experience was upsetting. The housekeeping literally just changed the beddings, remove rubbish and replaces the towels. They did not put the room in a proper state. The chairs and tables were moved. The side table were pushed towards the door of the adjoining room. So when we returned from our trip, we only find a nicely made-up bed and the rest seems trashed. So upsetting to received such standards considering I have left a note with a some tips for them (housekeeping) to manage the room nicely. Breakfast was at level 11. Frankly, it is NOT a restaurant. It is just a bar area, with tables set up around the bar. THey have set up tables along the bar as the buffet table for the foods. I do not understand why the hotel choses level 11 for the breakfast dining when they do have a restaurant on the 1st floor which are not much utilized for anything. Meals were decent and not much variety. There are bread station, Souped Noodles, Coffee/Tea, Eggs, Small salad bar, simple fruit/dessert station, cereal, Porridge, standard drinks (cordial syrup/ plain water / infused water), Rice, noodle, and other menu items. Fortunately, they change their main menu daily. So we had different things to eat on the 2 mornings. THe main menus are delicious. The sambal is a killer (super super spicy) but good! Because it is an open area, people are free to smoke while dining. One side of the "restaurant" the tables are placed outside the toilet. Not the best position to have your meal considering the air coming out of the toilet. The pool is decently small. More for children. Not adults. There is a room reserved for Muslims to pray next to the pool. Considering the standard of the hotel, it is upsetting to see patrons/customers bring in prostitutes into the hotel. So far I have seen 4 people with these call ladies. Hopefully the hotel can be strict about it. Overall, I do not mid staying in this hotel as Nagoya Foodcourt (huge) is located just in front of the hotel. But this hotel is not my go-to hotel or be amongst my top choices due to the many many unpleasant things that I saw and experienced.

Decent hotel opposite Nagoya Food Court. Hotel is decent. Room is decently clean, usual minor issues (noisy aircon, small defects in bathroom). Mini fridge provided in the room. Directly across the road from Nagoya Food Court, where you can get lots of great food at low cost. The pubs there are quite far away and not noisy. (you can ask for a quieter room facing the back). Location is convenient. Buffet breakfast was nice, with a egg station where staff will cook your eggs to order. Think this will be my default hotel for my future stays when in Batam.
