Bogotá hotels & accommodations

Nothing to complain about here. The usual good standard Radisson hotel. Very professional and helpful staff. Comfortable room. The hotel is a fair way from the centre of Bogota but it is a good safe area. no worries walking about at night. There is an excellent restaurant/pub area a short walk away. It is to the left side of the Santa Barbara shopping mall across the...

It is a very nice boutique hotel, located in most safe and prestige suburban, a lot good restaurants surrounding ,it is a best area of Bogota. Front desk Manager Serbto Gil was very help full ,he according the time I stay in Bogota and design a routes to tour in Bogota. He recommend a driver Miguel take me around all the tourist spots, it is very efficient and conveni...

My friends and I stayed here during our first visit to Bogota. We loved being in a more local neighborhood, and there were great options for food and drink in the vicinity. The hotel breakfast was ample and tasty too. I really enjoyed my time there!

Nico Apartment is located in the heart of Zona G where there are many nice restaurants and bar within 5 mins walking distance. I really felt safe walking around the neighborhood in the night time. The apartment is new and clean. Our groups have two rooms. The room next to the window towards the street might have some noise coming in but not a big problem. Breakfast i...

Pros: The hotel is in a great location for doing many of the top tourist attractions. You can walk most places. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is nice. The place is clean. Cons: The beds were hard as a rock, the sheets are rough, and the walls are paper thin. The first night we were on the 9th floor on the front side of the building and I couldn't sleep ove...

The Click Clack Hotel is a fun boutique hotel in an upscale part of town. I stayed in a 2nd floor room with a patio which was beautiful. It was easy to get around to the places we wanted to go to and the shopping and restaurants nearby were excellent. The staff was very nice and spoke excellent English. My only complaint is that I had to ask three times for extra hang...

Pros: location, nice clean rooms, restaurant had decent food and included buffet breakfast. Cons: none really. Although it was listed as 5 star it definitely wasn’t actually a legit 5 star. It was a solid 3.5 I’d say. You simply cannot have a 5 star for under a couple hundred dollars a night, and this hotel was around $60

The hotel is in a great location a stones throw from the Zona Rosa. The rooms are clean and well maintained, however, the staff are not so pleasant. In our room the air conditioning didn't work - it took a number of hours for someone to come to our room and inspect the device before we were moved. It was frustrating in circumstance where we wanted to get out and explor...

We had a overnight stay in this grand old building. We had a lovely sauna, spa, steam bath and swim. Look at th epics, this building offers a romantic image of another time. The restaurant served the best food I had in my 8 days in Bogota! This hotel is in the middle of the old historical city and we had a great time looking into the little ally ways and little restaur...

Over priced for what you get. On check in the person in front of me was given a bottle of water, when I checked in and asked about water I was told there was some in the mini bar... at $4 a bottle! A hotel that cost this much should have complimentary water. Also the hotel is not where it is pinned on Agoda and is a 5-10 minute drive away, and the last shuttle stops at...

the service at this hotel was horrible. I reserved and paid for a business suite. When i checked in i was taken to a terrible room. The room was very humid and damp. it had rained in Bogota that day, so I assumed it was just because of the weather. By the second day i was there, all my clothes were damp. It was terrible. I phoned the front desk to ask if room 10...

i can’t think of any bad views of this place, stopped here for 5 nights & really enjoyed my stayed. 30-35 minutes from the airport & the area is very safe. staffs are friendly, helpful & speak english which is hard to find in colombia. it’s quite away from the main attractions but their transmilleno buses services here are great. half an hour to town, love it!

Regina has it all, an enviable location right off Jimenez, one could not find a more central location in La Candelaria district, the very heart of Historic Bogota. Close by to the most complete bookstore in Bogota Lerner and shooting distance from Waffle and Crepes, my favorite Colombian food chain. Many eateries, museums, sites of interest (Cerro de Monserrate tramw...

This was honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed in! The hotel room was beautifully done with extremely comfortable beds and the bathrooms were spacious and clean. The only downside was the TV didn't have many channels in English and we couldn't plug our external hard drive in to it but we coped fine. The staff are exceptional, they are very friendly and couldn't ...

The hotel is located in the nicest part of Bogota: Clean, safe, full of parks, restaurants, great shops and even bike paths. The building and rooms are very well kept. There is a generous breakfast buffet, a free gym and a welcome drink on the house. We were disappointed by the bed (too small and soft, making it difficult to have a restful night) and by the rather smal...

I stayed for a couple of weeks in a business trip. The rooms are really miniapartments with kitchen, sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. Decoration quite stylist. Check in and check out were uneventful. i did not eat or breakfast in the hotel since it is located in an área full of top class eateries

It's not my first time staying here. Generally speaking, I like this hotel, and the service in here is absolutely nothing to complain about. Breakfast is the best of all my trips, and room is nice too. Some part maybe WiFi is a little weak, but they can provide free routers to amplify the signal, so no problem. Convenience store is very near also.

I stayed here for one night with my 2 year old son. It was such a fun and memorable experience. Not only is it beautiful but the staff is so attentive. I have never had such attention to detail when staying somewhere before. The only down grade I have is that there was long, dark hair left in the shower that was not my own. I really appreciated the thoughtful care we r...
Cheap places to stay in Bogotá

This hotel offers the best price for private room in Bogota. It is 5 min walk from "Flores", Trasmilenio station. The prices here are more reasonable than other places with costly dormitory and this place can be best choice for budget traveler in pair if you don't mind the ladies half-naked are standing nearby the hotel from the early morning till midnight. Staffs are ...

I booked this hotel for my first night in Bogota cause it was relatively cheap. the rooms were pretty small and the area wasnt so safe. Seemed like it was dangerous to be walking around the area after 8. nice cheap gym (totally in shape gym) a block from the hotel. The owner of the hotel owns 2 other places and i ended up staying at Casa Sabelle which is in the downtow...

Located in a residential and light industrial suburb of Bogota. There is a Tranmilenio bus station 10 minutes walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful (Spanish speaking). It takes around 30 minutes to get to the city from the bus line. Internet connection was good.

At first, I thought the location was going to be sketch as I arrived after dark. but after being there several days, it wasn't the case. It's like any other big city. There are lots of good restaurants in the area and lots to see and do within walking distance. Their breakfast was very good, the staff was very helpful and friendly. If you want fast wifi, stay on t...

Clean and pleasant hotel with very friendly staff. Room had all the basic necessities. However, the "free breakfast" included was 2 pieces of bread with a piece of cheese as well as coffee or juice...could be improved. Overall a good hotel close to the airport for a one or two night stay.

This place is something else. I had a great, albeit short stay in Casa Modelia and couldn't have been happier. The place immaculate, modern and new coupled with its perfect owner, John, who speaks perfect English and such a nice guy too, welcoming and has a great sense of humour. Don't pass by this place if in Bogota. 11 out of tgem from me. Highly recommended!!!!

avoid the first floor rooms, unless you are okay with people hearing you from other rooms and your window is along the hallway. internet is really fast , Starbucks is across the street and a lot of really great places to eat just beside the hotel . although again If you are on the first floor then you'll experience bar music all night but for the price ,.location ,...

The location in the center of Bogota makes it easy walking to major attractions like Montserrate and the gold museum.and others. There are pubs and restaurants in abundance. Rooms are small but what can you expect at their rate ? We received a warm welcome and i will certainly . Choose Dann ave 19 again for future travel.

Super clean rooms, centrally located, friendly and helpful staff. Room and bathroom were small but had comfortable bed .Eventhough room had a window towards the street, it was very quiet at night. If they had a roof garden/ roof terrace it would add to the value of the hotel for guests to have an area to hangout since the lobby area is quite smalll. Botero's Mu...

Small Ibis like rooms, only not as good. Bad acoustics and noise from hallway. No light blocking curtains. TV generic FOX package, mostly Spanish-language, no international foreign language news except Foxnews, CNN. Simple breakfast. With so many hotel options this price range in Bogota in this neighborhood, would not repeat at this hotel or in bH chain. This is not a ...

Firstly the taxi driver from airport didn't know where it was and drove to the wrong hotel on the other side of town, then after checking my confirmation and his map book, he took us there which took another hour through very busy traffic. the girl on the desk advised us not to go out around there as it wasn't safe so we had to order room service food, a chicken sandw...

The staff were exceptional . Even with my limited Spanish they were helpful and accommodating . From money transfers to restaurant recommendations they were awesome . Very quirky decorations , almost art deco … was a refreshing end to an extended travel marathon.

I stayed in this hotel for 1.5 nights as my usual choice in Bogota (Casa Real) had jacked up their rates for some reason and I found it was no longer in any relation to their offering. I chose this hotel, because I wanted to stay around Parque 93 and this hotel offered an acceptable rate. The hotel is new and the lobby reminds you of a modern botique hotel. The staff ...

The staff was accommodating enough, however check-in and check-out took far too long. The breakfast was truly memorable with some of the best and sweetest fruit I have had at a hotel. The facilities are OK, but no pool. The room a junior suite was enormous with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom with a tub. The room was clean, however I did sense that the builders...

We got stuck with a two day layover in Bogota. Never fly Avianca...Hotel Emaus was perfect for what we needed. They were inexpensive, in a cute little Soho neighborhood that had lots of bars/restaurants, and felt safe. We were 15 minutes from most things we checked out in Bogota. Staff were very helpful. They spoke pretty good English and were very patient to help us w...

I booked a junior suite and upon arrival was told that the hotel did not have any junior suites. I was told that they owned 2 other hotels and that junior suites were only available at those hotels. They ended up refunding me the difference but the room I was given was much different that the suite i booked. The standard room was ok and the breakfast was pretty good. n...

i was only here for a night as a layover between flights. it was about a half hour from the airport which was only pesos. the staff was very friendly and spoke english well. the various people at the front desk helped me with a dinner reco. and with a nearby shopping reco. my room on the second floor (rm. 203) was huge with the bay windows in the front. it had a large...

The staff stood out as being very willing to help whenever we needed it, from booking taxis to storing a case for us while we traveled around Colombia. The quality of the rooms was very high, with very large flat-screen TV and modern rain-shower with plenty of hot water. The sauna was a bonus, although it took a long time to reach an acceptable temperature. The locatio...

I stayed at the Hotel Morrison 84 with some friends for a weekend trip-- it was an excellent decision to stay there! We arranged airport transfer before arrival and it worked seamlessly. Stayed in this hotel mid - May. Its a nice hotel located very conveniently downtown Bogota. Staff are very nice & helpful. The doorman will always open the door and wish you even if you enter & exit 100+ times. The Barman was also very nice (forgotten his name). Highly recommended. I did not like the wash basin outside the bathroom concept, especially if you are shari...

Hotel is located in an upscale neighborhood. Spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent! Lots of choices, fruits, cereal, breads, Colombian breakfast, and even the option to order eggs as you like them (the omelletes were very good). The staff is very nice and always ready to assist you. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 4 nights for the first time. So far it is the best hotel I have stayed in Bogota. Great value for money, good location. Staff is very friendly and all of them speak English. The rooms are spacious, furniture still looks very new. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel is quiet (something I was missing in my last hotel). All amenities like in-room ...

The hotel is amazing. I normally tend to only go to hotels from the big groups like IHG, Hilton, SPG, and NH, but after reading the reviews, I wanted to go to the hotel where "there was an iPad that let you control the room (lights/blinds/if you need your laundry picked up or not/etc..) The iPad was there, but there was so much more! You could connect your phone/tablet...

The traffic is bad although there is exrpess bus which cannot access to most attractions. We have to prepare the traffic jam in/out the airport.
I think the first thing to say about Bogota is that it's vast and sprawling. So, like other cities of that type, it's many different places that would take a lifetime to explore.
Very diverse, friendly mix of people. You should have a grasp of Spanish because very few people speak English.
It is safe in the North Embassy area and Candlearia area during the day, however I was advised not to wander too far at night.
