"Arrived at 11am and was told to wait until 3am to check in. The hotel wasn’t busy. I walked into town(25 minutes). On my return I spoke to another couple who said the same about check in. To get to room from entrance you need to get a lift to 14th floor where reception is then walk to opposite side of reception to get lift to your floor where room is. You can only then go to floors of pool, spa and restaurant so if with friends on another floor you can’t get to there floor. Pool was small with limited sun beds and very load with music. There were 5 staff at bar and yet no one came over to me and asked if I wanted anything. Breakfast was good with a variety of foods. Asked for fried eggs and it took 15 minutes. Room was smelly when you enter but you get used to it and don’t notice after 5 minutes. View over pool and ocean, large room. Toiletries were basic and had better in hostels. Water pressure not great. Staff were rude. Only nice polite staff was black pregnant lady on reception."

"The manager was great on helping us unfortunately agoda puts pictures up of something that is not accurate when you arrive. It was me and my girlfriend visiting Cartagena and the pictures showed us a room with one bed , ocean view balcony. When we arrived the hotel had the so called “double room” that was suppose to be one bed when we arrived to the room it was two double beds making the room tighter and smaller for me and my girlfriend. I had to wait 2 hours to get checked in because of this mistake. The hotel did not want to change the room as they kept arguing that is what I booked according to them. The miscommunication and false advertising from agoda made me miss out on an important family lunch we had planned. Luckily the hotel manager Laura was super helpful and accommodated my needs. So my advice to everyone if your booking through here make sure you call the hotel after you reserve to make sure it is what you have seen in the pictures.. THANK YOU LAURA !! For your help. "
