Changsha hotels & places to stay

location is not far from center of town, room is quite big, amazing view around the hotel, jogging track also nice, room facilities is top, comfortable bed and pillows, staff is friendly and some of them speaks english and very helpful, will definitely stay there again next time in changsha, for family with young children we just need kids playroom, usually other 5 star or 4 star hotel provided kids playroom or kids activities.

The location of the hotel is great, the subway train station is in front of the hotel. The airport bus station also within walking distance with very low price on transfer from airport to hotel and wise versa. The staff is friendly and willing to assist. The room is quite big and clean. Many choices of food and shops nearby. I will choose this hotel again in my next visit to Changsha.

You can be assured of Kempinski hotel standard. The rooms are very typical of a 5 star international hotel, very well kept and modern. Service here is good and the staffs are extremely friendly. The elements restaurant is pretty standard but was a bit disappointed with the spread as when I went to the restaurant at around 1.40 pm for a late lunch, most of the buffet spread is already minimal. Everything was good at the hotel and it is in a good location with lots of food nearby and a huge mall within 10 mins walk from the hotel. Only issue with the hotel was the shower as the water flows out with light shower making the bathroom pretty wet.

The washer/dryer is excellent and very convenient. The air-conditioning works very well. The breakfast has broad selections, with both western and eastern food and the taste is delicious. The staff is very nice. We had a problem with the Safe at one time, Jerry came over and resolved the problem smoothly. Housekeeper Ms. Zou and Ms. Gou did a very good job, we were fully satisfied with both of them. I highly recommend this serviced apartment and will book it again once return to Changsha. The only sorrow is that there is a distance to a metro station, would need a taxi. I would also hope the staff can strengthen a little more in English speaking and listening.

This was one of my best stays on many trips in China. Check in took a little long but staff was very friendly and the room more than made up for it. Had a good view from the room, bed was very comfortable and there was a bathtub in the bathroom. Hands down best gym I have ever seen in a hotel, well equipped and big with a swimming pool. Staff is very well trained. Great location, close to walking street and well connected to public transport to go pretty much anywhere like the university, Mount Lu and the railway station. Didn't try their breakfast since there's so much food to try in Changsha. Had a fantastic stay.

The Hotel is within the heart of Furong, Sheraton Changsha Hotel is an Excellent Hotel which is very near to MRT station. Travelling by MRT was the way i did my traveling to do shopping and visit many interesting places in Changsha but occasionally need to take a Taxi to reach some places in Changsha. This was my first trip to Changsha and overnight stay was very good and comfortable. The room size is good and it is clean and well maintained. In addition, besides,i found that the services provided by the staff is excellent. Great Breakfast and Fitness Centre as well as good Spa. Would highly recommend this Hotel to Friends and my Business associates.

WE REACHED CHANGSHA IN THE LATE NIGHT. THE TAXI BROUGHT US TO THIS HOTEL WHICH I BOOKED IN AGODA WITH A PROMOTION PRICE. THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS TO ACCOMODATE 4 OF US. THE STAFFS WERE SO FRIENDLY AND SO HELPFUL. I WAS GLAD TO FIND NICE STAFFS FOR 5 STARS HOTEL. USUALLY THE STAFFS FOR THIS KIND OF HOTEL ARE ARROGANT. BUT THESE GROUP ARE SO FRIENDLY ... IT WAS UNFORTUNATE WE HAVE TO LEAVE IN THE NEXT DAY TO ZHANGJIAJIE. WE MISSED THIS HOTEL

I truly enjoyed my stay at the White Swan. The hotel itself is fantastic. It is definitely a 4 Star hotel, and the staff goes above and beyond to provide value. Every need I had, they found a way to meet. Language was definitely a barrier, as this hotel is not located in downtown Changsha and they do not get too many English-speaking guests. However, they would always try to figure out what I needed and would quickly locate someone who had at least passable English. The rooms were phenomenal, and unlike many chinese hotels, the bed was very comfortable. The room staff changed all bedding every day, including the comforter. The buffets were pretty good overall. I would not say it was world-class food, but they had a wide variety and most of it was well prepared. The staff was very attentive, and after a few days, they knew many of the things I would ask for and would bring them to me automatically. The only downside to the hotel is it is about a 35 minute taxi from downtown. Not a huge deal, as the fare is about 35-40 yuan, but if you need to get downtown quickly, this location is not convenient. Having said that, I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel duty manager Ms Zhou was super nice and friendly. We check in late and rooms we booked have fully occupied, manager give us free upgrade to rooms at business level. She also provide many travelling trips to place of interest. My room is very nice and in decent size, carpet is old and a lot of stains, toilet and bath room glass panel door water leak out to toilet, Internet has problem connecting. Breakfast has better variety and much better as compare to other hotels.

I had to stay a night in Changsha to catch a flight the next day. Did want to spend too much on a hotel because they is not too much to do in Changsha anyway. The price is great and it is safe and clean. The internet works, so nothing to complain about. It just gets the job done but wouldn't want to stay for more than a night or two. Great option is you need a cheap place

This hotel is very conveniently located at walking distance from Changsha Railway Station, and access is very easy from the airport. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and very clean, equipped with everything you need (big comfortable bed with soft pillows, TV, electric kettle, hair dryer, a working desk, big wardrobe). I stayed for only one night but wish I could stayed longer! The only downside of this hotel is that the staff only speaks chinese.

The location is very near to metro station. Room is spacious and the service is very good. They allowed us to put our heavy suitcases for few days before we stayed there (because we went to Zhangjiajie before staying there). Staffs speak English, so we could easily communicate with them (as first time traveler to Changsha, we needed so many info). We told them we will check out early in the morning and they offered to pack the breakfast for us to takeaway. Love their hospitality and kindness. By the way, I loveeeee the shampoo they provided (Lux), my hair stayed soft and shiny for 3 days. Thank you for your excellent service, Ibis Changsha.

High Speed train from Guangzhou to CHANGSA . From Changsa bus trip to Zhangjiajie. Abt 4 hours. JJ inn situated in busy part of town. Foods and Banks available within walking distance. Dusty surrounding and smoke smell hotel room. Price reasonable. Far fron HS train station. Bus 159 to nearby hotel. Take a taxi from here ( about 45min) to hotel. From hotel to HS train stnt take bus 159 from bus stop opposite hotel.. (in front Bank).

Great location near Changsha railway station and subway. Typical 7 Days Inn room, basic, but with hairdryer, toiletries, the etc. But BEWARE the location is wrong on the map! We followed the map and it takes you to a dodgy part of town, Agoda needs to change it ASAP! We ended up going to about 5 different 7 day inns before finding the right one.
