"We stayed in this hotel from 31 Oct-4 Dec 2014. It was the most comfortable of the lot during our 10 days tour in Chengdu area. Our bed was daily made and towels were daily changed. They also daily provide complimentary mineral water bottles & Lipton tea bags. There were also complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste though we didn't used them as we had brought ours. They let their guests use disposable paper-cups both at the washbasin and in the room - very hygienic indeed. The room was spacious and clean. My wife loved it has timber-like flooring so there is no issue with dustmites or bad odour. Their King size bed is reasonably soft and comfortable. The AC in the room is adjustable to cool as well as heater-sort. We were not fassy with food and settled our breakfast daily in the hotel @ RMB15/person. There were reasonable spread of Asian food such as noodles, porridge and rice and dishes as well as basic portion of Western food like fried eggs, sandwiches, sausages, steamed pumpkin, tea, coffee and cereals. Their staff are very responsive and helpful. They were more effective when we converse Mandarin with them. We will definitely look to stay in Ibis Hotel again even if we should go to other part of China. Its rate is affordable and their rooms are really human-habitat-able. "

"Dorsett Grand Hotel We recently stayed at Dorsett Grand Hotel in Chengdu for 5 nights and we loved it. The hotel is in a fantastic location close to the city centre and the Metro station is less than 100m from the hotel. The room we stayed in was surprisingly spacious and clean, with a separate sitting area with its own TV. The bed was big and comfortable and the bathroom supply was of good quality. The hotel offers a wide range of breakfast in both Chinese and western styles. Staff at reception speaks good English which makes the check-in / out trouble-free. The concierge service staff were most helpful and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel as it offers fantastic value for money, great location, comfort stay and great breakfast with helpful staff. We will definitely return next time when we visit Chengdu and won’t hesitate to recommend it to our friends. "

"I choosed this hotel becuase it is the same hotel group as LKF Hotel in Hong Kong and also because it just opened ( in 2012). I also got upgraded when I check in. The bathroom is very big and nice, it has a seperate shower and a nice bathtub next to the window over looking Chengdu. The room is also very big and very well decorated, 2 big TV, comfortable bed, auto-controlled curtain......Most important, the price is not too expensive compare to other 4/5 star hotel in Chengdu. Great value for money."
