Foshan hotels & accommodations

We booked 3 rooms at this hotel but when we got there we were told that only one room was available and had to wait for the other 2 rooms. Fortunately, the hotel manager was there to upgrade our rooms to 2 suite rooms which we readily accepted. The hotel was one of the best we have stayed in China, nice grand lobby, and great Chinese restaurant on the 2nd flr. The room...

We had an extremely pleasant stay at this hotel and this was my hubby’s email to the hotel management: We checked into your hotel recently and stayed 3 nights in it, from 15th to 18th November, 2018. Although my wife and I had visited China many times, our trip to Foshan was our maiden trip. I would like to say that your hotel is the best we had experienced in China, ...

I was looking for a hotel in china that was the closest to five stars I could find. I really dread china hotels bc they usually are really dirty and don't have hot water, etc. The Wyndham is definitely good enough to hit all the points I needed. I picked a hotel a little further from the South Rail (it's about 20-25 mins by taxi) but it was well worth it since this pla...

Hi - I actually live in Foshan but I needed to break up my business trip with some western culture so I booked into the Swissotel ! Well from the minute I arrived you would have thought I had stayed there 100 times - Staff were very attentive, could not do enough for me - upgraded me to a suite ( for a modest fee ) and that's where i stayed for 3 nights ! - Food / Res...

Pro - lift needs room card in order to reach the assigned floor level - Starbucks, subway, Burger King, mrt station, etc just below apartment - daily housekeeping Con - 1h + from airport to apartment around 230yuan - 1h to Shang xia Jiu pedestrian (Chang shou lu station) - not easy to wave a taxi around 5-8pm from Feng yuan lu to Foshan zu Miao unless online booking

The InterContinental in Foshan was the nicest hotel I stayed so far in China, top service - friendly and well trained, very well designed and modern rooms, good breakfast in a spacious restaurant, a lobby bar with proper cocktails and finger food, and so on... Sadly I only got to stay half a night (very late check-in), wished I had more time to enjoy and explore the...

I was initially hesitant to reserve a non-international hotel in China. However, after reading all the reviews, I decided to take a chance because of this hotel's location. I made a good bet. The hotel is very nice and the facilities are better than most 5-Star hotels. We are from California and when we ask for non-smoking, we mean non-smoking. This hotel's non-smo...

This was my first stay at the Ramada Plaza Shunde. My initial impression was very good. The doorman was prompt in getting my bags. The reception staff were quick in processing my booking with no issues. As my arrival was at the end of a long trip I decided to go and have a drink in the foyer bay before heading up to my room. Unfortunately, the bar staff were very, ...

One of the most famous hotel in Foshan, most of the taxi driver know about this hotel. Reserve room without breakfast, the hotel served very good Dim Sam (Chinese Dumpling)at Food Street Restaurant or Pavilion Court during breakfast, the buffet beakfast coffee house is normal 4 star hotel standard. The room are clean but look a little old. Service is good check in and ...

Every time we come to Foshan, we stay at this business hotel. The exterior looks great though some rooms need renovation. The hotel does not have nightclub, no swimming pool, no sauna room, no laundry machine and no fitness centre ( maybe they have but very difficult to find ?? ); yet it is still very ok because of the cleanliness and price. We will definitely come...
Cheap places to stay in Foshan

It is located inside the shopping mall opposite to the ancestral temple of Foshan. One reminder is to keep your head up to any sign as the entrance was not obvious. Getting internet was a little tricky but the staffs at the counter were very helpful. The room had window to the corridor. For budget short stay, it is ok. Buses were very frequent, they can bring you to ma...

Great location, very clean and big rooms and have sufficient facilities for a business trip. The only downside and what spoilt the trip was that there were no heaters in the rooms. It was absolutely freezing cold in Foshan the 4 days that I was there and the room was freezing too. Had I been with my wife and baby, would have definately had to move out of hotel. T...

the bad... bad location real old building and all inside wifi working very badly (acknowledge by staff, but only after complaining many times and getting the room changed.. would have appriciated would be immediately mentioned and handled) smelly and dirty rooms bad security of the rooms, with even some windows you cannot close shower room as broken as all the re...

I picked the hotel largely due to the price and close proximity to my supplier's factory. As I entered the room, the cigarette stench was really bad, but it went away after I left the windows opened for couple of hours. Bed is super hard, better not hop onto the bed, you might break a bone. Other than that, the room is relatively clean. The hotel houses probably 2 of th...

The front office staff was helpful particularly the young Mr. Zhang who patiently assisted us using his smartphone in getting a cab going to a destination not familiar to him. The hotel was clean and the breakfast buffet was better than expected. It's close to a supermarket which is a big plus.

the bed,is very hard, the pillow is too soft, didn't have good sleep at all, the room is nice though, the housekeeper is nice, the breakfast is waste of time and money, the food is same and didn't have much choice. such a big hotel don't even have ice cube, i called the restaurant and was told there isn't any and asked, to to call front desk which i did and was told ...

This hotel is a resort style hotel built in an estate comprising family living and businesses. It is the best value for money in the area and the rooms are nicely appointed. The staff at reception speak English but most of the others do not. There is a great massage centre that has both body and foot massage. I enjoyed my few nights there and would definitely stay th...

A clean hotel with generous sized rooms and comfortable beds (by Western and Eastern standards). Not many English speaking staff, which proves to be an issue when they don't appear to have ironing boards and irons in the rooms and you need to request one, or to request unlocking the the mini bar (was was very basically stocked, but the only place in the entire hotel t...

Found out all tickets of high speed train sold out and need to stay till next morning. Found this decent hotel on agoda with highest rating about 25 mins away. There is nothing around the hotel and all restaurants in hotel closed. The room rate is high but due to last minute. Cannot complain too much

It is good place for those who is going to buy furniture, building materials, lighting, wholesale and for own house also.
Foshan is a historic commercial centre of all nearby villages and so with good transportation esp with the recent developing underground rail system.
This place is good for their food especially seafood, you will not able to find such good food with such good price.
It is not a busy city like Guangzhou, a good place to get away from the busy HK life. But not much to see except having coffee and relax in Linan Tiandi.
It was a great city friendly people city it is clean you can find the restaurants every where metro station cover the area easy to go by taxi

Foshan Is Very Nice City For Business Specially The Lecong Furniture Market Is The Best In The World.
City of Ceramic, alot of foreigner or purchaser from all around the world coming for Ceramic and furniture purcase.
There are so many Restaurants which are Selling the Specific Chinese Cantonese Food, and we also can go to Master Wong Fei Hung Kung Fu School and see the Lion Dance, There is a Big Goddess of Mercy Statue at Xi Qiao Shan, Very peacefull in that place and very naturely.
It is not a shopping area for clothes and the like, but it is a mecca for sourcing out goods. Whole areas are dedicated to one type of good (like lighting or vanity units etc), so you will be spoilt for choice, but the one thing I will say is that you will need an interpreter because not many people speak english in this area - if you can get past that you will do well.
The people here are very friendly. We were caught one evening in a heavy storm. Two young men helped to shelter us with their huge umbrella and then when the rain subsided, they even bought umbrellas for us and refused to accept any money from us.
Windy time during December period, you may bring more jacket or more clothes. cooler than airccond sometime.
