"This is worth visiting. Xiahe is an amazing place and nowhere is better situated than this hotel. The owner, local, speaks perfect English and will organise things for you if you want, but will also leave you alone if you want that. We had a tour around Labrang Monastery and a wonderful tour in the grasslands both set up by the hotel. The hotel has amazing decor which is much beyond expected in something in this price range. All the staff are shy, but very helpful if you ask. They all do a good job and are happy. We had breakfast there every day which is basic but costs very little. Really recommend this place and the staff are great with kids."
