"This guesthouse has a nice view and clean, well decorated rooms. The property itself is beautiful and it is obvious a lot of care and planning went into it. The "swimming" mentioned in the ad is a small portion of the river about knee deep and is filled with tourists in tiny rafts from 10 am to 5 pm at least. There is a small shared refrigerator where you can store perishables and the owner stated we could cook small meals while we were there. I highly suggest bringing groceries with you for your meals. Overall, it is what I expected, but not what I had hoped. In China, there are many hotels that offer this experience but for much less money. And in hindsight, I would have chosen a guesthouse further away from the whistles and constant noise of the tourist trap across the stream. "

Rooms are spacious and well designed. Breakfast buffet was pretty good; the Chinese restaurant serves very fine cuisine."
