Where to stay in Jining
Jining hotels & accommodations

I lived in Qufu for 3 years and saw this hotel being built. 7 years later and it's a beautiful place to stay in this historic China town. The Shangrila was very welcoming, clean and the staff very professional. I thought the restaurant was over priced, but that goes hand in hand with a high-class hotel called the Shangrila! If you don't feel like spending a fortune for...

The main draw is that it's the cheapest place in Qufu on Agoda. Also, the location is truly excellent, one block up from the Confucius Temple and Mansion, across the street from the Yan Hui Temple, and a pleasant fifteen minute walk up the street to the Confucius Forest and Mausoleum. The staff are pretty friendly, and the girls in the bar speak relatively good English...

Was very disappointed with this hotel. Only good thing was the location otherwise would not recommend to stay. The room was outdated and the window leaked after the heavy rain so puddle on floor. Also the door would not shut unless you slammed and pushed the door shut. Not best place I've stayed

for the price and comfort, this is the best stay in town if you want to spend time exploring everything you want to know about confucious. while there's now a gargantuan shangri-la being built further down the road, it looks completely out of scale to the rest of the city. this is much more homely. the rooms are clean, fair-sized, and whilst i did not try breakfast,...

I found this at the last minute online and was so glad I did. The owner helped me as much as he could and installed a translator on his phone to communicate to me in English. I also added him to my wechat so that was great to communicate to him like that. He also took me to the ticket place a day before to get a train ticket and also looked online to see times for ...
