"Overall, the Pullman Kaifeng is a lovely place to stay with friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms and a brilliant breakfast buffet. The location is good although the grounds of the hotel are so massive that it takes a good ten minutes to walk to the road! This however, is not a deterrent as there are hotel owned golf buggies and taxis are easy to get. My only 2 gripes are to do with the placement of the lifts and the design of the bathrooms. The lifts - the hotel is only 2 stories so it's easy to walk up and down the stairs however, when you need to use the lift for luggage etc it's not so easy to find and when you do find it, it feels like you're accessing the staff entrance! The bathrooms - they're a great size however, the shower/bath recess is a good two huge steps down into a deep tub. Very contemporary in design but not so practical for elderly people or kids as you do need to hang onto a rail to get in! Still, a nice hotel in a fun city."
