We enjoyed our stay at the Zhongzhou especially as Kaifeng was bathed in colour from the Chrysanthemum Festival. Lots to see in two days and the city was more natural than other tourist spots. The bonus was the evening restaurant market opposite the hotel with 75 eating outlets and great beer - something lacking generally in China!
