New Caledonia hotels & accommodations
Great location and easy to book trips through hotel. Staff friendly and reasonable level of English. Reasonable value for money by New Caledonia standards
The resort is right on a beautiful beach and set in a well kept garden. We had a garden room which is furthest from the beach but just a short walk. The pool is quite small but no one uses it as it is 10 m from the beach. It is not cheap but for the island, which is not cheap, is good value for what you get. Good breakfast too. The only complaint is the gardens rooms a...
Just in front of Anse Vata beach and it’s just along the bunch of restaurants and shops on the Promenade.. definitely not a 5-star hotel but for the price, it is good value and hotel is clean and decent. Sound proofing could be improved but it was not super loud or noisy while I stayed there over the weekend.
I recently took my 19 year old daughter to Noumea for a short holiday in New Caledonia and booked Le Lagon for the entire 5 day stay. I was very happy with the choice, excellent double room, very clean, helpful and courteous staff, very good facilities, i.e. swimming pool, spa etc and most importantly , its location. Only 2 mins walk to the beach and close to very good...
Expensive but worth every cent. Try to stay at least 2-3 nights at this place, its worth it. Its expensive but do it, go for the bungalow over the water, that is the best place. Dont go half as in this resort, dont do the day trip and dont do the garden view, go all in, book the bungalow over the water for at least 2-3 nights. Watching the sunset at you bungalow and w...
Great location, definitely on the best stretch of beach. Pool & pool area are lovely. Rooms spacious, clean & well equipped. Restaurants serve fabulous food but despite having a few restaurants in the hotel they tend to serve very similar dishes so not much variety. It’s 5mins walk to a stretch of bars & restaurants & 15mins walk to Lemon Bay with even more choice. New...
The New Caledonia experience was a mixed bag. I think you have to appreciate the social structure and the present political situation to appreciate where New Caledonia is at. It appears that the indigenous people have voted against independence at the moment so all is on hold including capital works on a lovely hotel like the Hilton which has the best position in Noum...
This hotel is great. The food is awesome (diner menu mainly), and the location is excellent, right in front of the bay with kayaks, paddle boards, snorkelling gear, and others all available to guests at ease. The hotel's staff was very kind and understanding and manage to arrange for us some specific requests without hesitation (something I did not see in many other ho...
Nice piece of France in the South Pacific - best of both worlds! If you want to enjoy a touch of France, then stay here in the centre - it is a short bus ride to the beach to see what you are not missing. Just wander about and relax in the centre, and experience the diverse mix of cultures. If you are there on a Thursday don't miss the events in the Place des Cocotiers...
The location was a little far from tourist attractions and there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance but on the same token it has a fantastic outlook over the bay and is very relaxing and there is a good restaurant in the hotel . If you are hiring a car or willing to catch a bus or taxi location shouldn’t be too much of a problem . We were in a ground f...
Great hotel in excellent location. We booked a suite with ocean views and thoroughly enjoyed. Only minutes to main strip where all the best restaurants and bars are located. Staff very pleasant and forthcoming. Pool area very relaxing and set off the beach. Best hotel that part of island.
A lovely quiet place - food terrific if a little expensive. rooms were fabulous, well appointed and comfortable. We really loved it
We had a pleasant stay at Casa del Sole, however there were many disappointing aspects, mainly relating to a lack of facilities. Do not expect modern conveniences such as hand towels, face washers, water glasses or to have someone empty your bin. The styling of the apartment would be considered 'minimalist' at best. The entire hotel is in desperate need of refurbishmen...
I loved the friendliness of the staff, they really made us welcome during our stay - especially the pool staff who were so busy over the weekend! Te bungalows were beautiful and golf course world class but there isn't a whole lot to do aside from golf and lie by the pool which was fine by us. The whole environment was very tranquil, it was perfect for us as a grown up ...
This is s place you could easily hang out at and relax for a couple of days while seeing the sites in the area. Units are new Inside and gorgeously constructed. Very comfortable and upscale compared to what we had been getting g in this price range in New Caledonia. Add in a fantastic Thai three course dinner at a reasonable price for NC and a large botanical quality...
I will highly recommend this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant downstairs was excellent, at first the restaurant looks expensive but dont be deceived. It was actually cheaper and a whole lot better than the restaurants nearby which has awful food and overpriced. We requested the room on the highest floor and the hotel was ver...
As usual, this hotel provides good rooms with a great view toward the lagoon and the shore. Moreover and this is why i get use to select the Parc hotel, the location is excellent to reach many sites by foot, e.g. pubs, restaurants, shoppings. And it is just 45 min from the Coconut place (city centre) by walk. Price of the room still a bit expensive, but we are in New ...
Fabulous location around the corner from Aquarium and across the road from the taxi boat. They have a great show and dinner at the pool on Friday nights. The staff were very helpful with information, and the kitchen opened cans for us and rewarmed food that we had bought elsewhere (which was very kind seeing that we did not buy any meals whilst staying at the hotel). ...
Very good place to stay with family. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our two bedroom apartment had a nice size balcony with great view to the ocean, pool and the city. If you travel on a budget, cooking your own meals will help because the food is expensive AUD $40 for breakfast and AUD$70 for a meal. There is a supermarket walking distance, a pharmacy, the clo...
the place is nice, and the beach too, but too expensive for the kind of room, you can find it cheaper .... - nobody (even not the manager, speaks any languages...french only) - the women at the reception always leave her brain at home before she come to work, or maybee the evolution in new caledonia isn`t that far ?...she tried to take almost 20 times more for my ph...
My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. We had a bungalow on the beach and it was magic waking to the view. staff very warm and friendly.
Lovely location, cute unit, comfy, great shower, gated accommodation
This hotel has a great potential- a great location, nice decor and affordable rates if you want a studio to cook your own meals. The only problem we had was that the reception was always closed and even when it was supposed to be open, there was a sign on the door to call a number for assistance. We left a message, but no reply. There were signs in the room that if we ...
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. The room was basic and the food was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a nice beach across the road for swimming and snorkelling. They do have a pool however for some reason it was closed for maintenance for the duration of our stay. You can book a tour from the hotel to see the island or hiring a car is another ...
great for self catering. well laid out. full size fridge and freezer handy. nice pool. we were staying for 3 nights and when i asked for a roll of toilet paper was given one small roll and told if i wanted more to buy it at the supermarket which was unexpected. would stay there again though as it suited us.
