Fatih hotels & places to stay

Great hotel and value for money. Initially a little problem with our booking they said. Well initially they didnt have our booking and was told the price we be almost twice what we booked online for.after a bit of haggling they agreed to give us the room for what we booked at. This was later confirmed by them the next day when their system received our booking. Otherwise great hotel but just out side of the real Sultanhamet tourist area. but just 3 stops on the tram to Topkapi. Very clean rooms and bathrooms and very modern.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful, particularly the incredibly helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to make any necessary bookings and recommendations for tours, dinners and whatever else we wished to see or do. It is spotless, the breakfasts are superb and it is very conveniently located in the Old City. We would most certainly stay there again should we have the opportunity of visiting Istanbul again.

Our hotel room was very comfortable, although our windows were covered in scaffolding as they were remodeling. The front-desk clerk was apologetic and told us about this in advance, as the room itself was actually an upgrade. Not a big deal. The hotel is located on the main tram line, but it is at least five stops from the main attractions of Sultanahmet. We did discover some very nice restaurants in the side streets near the hotel, none of which had a tourist clientele.

My stay was very comfortable, hotel was clean, staff was very friendly, hostess Nada was extremely helpful and friendly, and guidance was provided promptly whenever we got lost. Near to all the major attractions, metro station was a plus point; you can take metro to all the major areas of Istanbul, which really minimized the transportation cost. My sincere advice to the tourists is to discover the metro the very first day, its on walking distance from the hotel. The metro stops at all the major tourists areas, you can basically buy the tickets at the station. Taxies are also easily available as soon as you step out of the hotel. Don’t miss Zia Baba’s kebab which is located on the same street as the hotel is, locals on street can direct you as well, extremely yummy and affordable restaurant you get the best for your money and get the taste of real kebabs. Breakfast was monotonous, needs variety , however several other restaurants in the area serve nice breakfast too.

Enjoyed our stay here, we had young kids & elderly with us and the facilities here & location was ideal (with lift & busy Fatih location plenty of shops, restaurants & incredible mosque!). Exceptionally good value for money. Breakfast is turkish style and we all really enjoyed it. Bathroom was not as clean as should have been but staff attended to this after I mentioned it. Particular gratitude to the kind reception staff Fehmi & Shanar who made every effort to ensure we had a comfortable stay & to the kitchen chef for all the balloons he gave the kids everyday :)) Without a doubt this is our preferred hotel in Istanbul if you want to be out and about.

I very recommend this hostel to backpackers who want come to Istanbul.. Very friendly staff and very kindly receptionist.. The room and toilet are very clean.. And you get free breakfast with tea or coffee every morning at 8 am. 3 things that i always remember about this hostel: first is Tom, I miss him, maybe sometimes he will meet Jamilah, my cat. The second is I get free loundry.. I saved my some clothes before leaving for Berlin and after I returned to this hostel my clothes had been wash.. thank for you all.. And third is The receptionist cares about my prayer. When I want to Subuh prayer, I ask permission to pray in the reception area, because I can't pray in the room, but the guy forbade me to pray in the reception area because of a lot of alcohol spills on the floor, and he wasn't sure if the floor was clean from alcohol. He gave me a prayer mat and asked me to pray outside because he thought it was cleaner and purer.. Thanks guy, May ALLAH always bless you Hanchi, Best regards from me

great and vintage,like acting in ottoman style movies , easy to mosque and galata bridge . nice sight point.if you want look galata zone from hotel ,best choice. mustafa 1864 sugar store very close, if you want taste some tranditional sugar and food,you can try this . and if you want go to grand bazzar,this hotel will be your first choice.this hotel support free turkish bath,but if you want try turkish bath with spa, you need pay for it ,very cheap. i feel very comfortable.

We stay here for 4 day. We were very happy to stay in this hotel as the staff especially Mr Ayatullah & Kamal very friendly, helpfull and gave a great hospitality. The hotel cleanliness very good and a good location too. Easy to find execellent food around this area with a very cheap price. For easy transportation, u can either choose to take metro (7minit walking) or using Uber application to get taxis. Its super convenient!! Will stay here again..

Nice stay, nice breakfast, Clean hotel, price is good Only in the room , there is Humidity smell The most important thing in thehotel first of all valley and free parking which is not available in 80% of hotels Hotel location is so nice, close to coffee shops, 15 min walk to lalali street , Old bazar, and fatih My big thanks to all staff for their service coz it was soo nice Specially Mrs HELIN TANDOGAN that she is ready to give any help that customer need and she helps me to mark my bags If i Visit istanbul again inshallah i will visit hotel again Thanks again

on of my best stays is Istanbul' i had been 3 time in the last year is Istanbul (every year i"m 3 times is Istanbul ) i had been in a different hotels. some times 4/5 stars. and this hotel is the best place by the stay and the value of your money. very good location 52 seconds from the door of the hotel to the door of tramway T1 .that mean you dont need the expensive taxis.the rooms and the bathroom is very clean. and cleaning every day and you dont lose any thing! and if you forget they will call you and tell you to come and take like mr. yuonos do. the breakfast is very good +. you have every thing that you need to start a good day and its tasty.the rooms is a little bit small but most of the hotels is Istanbul like this and when i ask the reception in the next day they improve it .the staff is very kindly and help in what he can help. and i have must say thank you to mr celil and mr metehan that help me when police catch me without my passport ( my fall) . the best value for money

The apartment is perfect for big families who are looking to stay for few days and equipped with the necessary stuff. Location is very good, only few minutes to the tram and bus stations. Grand Bazar, Blue Moseque and other attractive areas can be reached easily by tram within 15 minutes. The problem with the building is that there is no lift, as such it is better for family with elder people to stay in grounder 1st floor. Overall I found the apartment is satisfactory.

I had a Club room on the higher floor - a better room I would assume. The room quality is a 3-star hotel room - basic and adequate. When I booked the room the rate fluctuated greatly - from USD$70 to USD$130. I paid when the rate was $70 and therefore felt it was well worth it. The tram station is right outside of the hotel door, making it very convenient to go places including the airport. The side streets around the hotel have many cafe and eating places - good and inexpensive. I would come back to stay at this hotel in the future.

Good location, very helpful and friendly reception staff, however, the canteen staff could have been a little more helpful and friendly! Breakfast was okay, nothing special. Highly recommend putting complimentary and coffee in the room, few biscuits wouldn't go amiss either. Lighting in the room were very poor. Reasonably enjoyed our three night stay there. Furst you entire the room you will se everything is clean and perfekt. The Hotel is on a hill or you take the side from marmaray sirkeci. My bedcover was dirty and the towel damages. The closet is a child closet. The buffet wasn t hall enough. I wish a turkish culture but wheter the staff or the food was turkish. I know the breakfast is free but I saw better buffets forspecial turkish culture . This is turkey we would see something turkish. But just one person was turkish and he was really friendly. The kitchen staff stays nose drilled there.. it was aweful. If you want a good breakfast and turkish culture you should take another hotel but if you just wabt a cheap place to sleep for and the breakfast is for you ok if there is just jam butter olive and eggs co ahead it will be good for you.

We booked 2 rooms for 3 persons. One is twin bed and another one is double bed room. The hotel management kept 2 nos twin bed room for us. We checked in at mid night. But still one of them was not ready at all. They don't have enough staff to manage the property. In mid night, I came down to the reception several times to discuss the issue. Finally the gave me a triple bed room. So we did not get enough comfort in a triple bed room like a double bed. We stayed there 6 nights. One day they shifted us to another hotel just opposite to them. We did not like it. We were needed to pack our luggage's at the morning. The next day they took us returned. One were needed to pack our luggage again..! They have a buffet break fast service with limited items. Wifi is good. No toiletries provided. No safety locker available. No room service. No restaurant. Location is the plus point. Staffs are honest. This is a good budget hotel.

the hotel is at convenient location near to the yenikapi metro and near to aksaray metro. this helped alot in reaching the two most popular centers sultan ahmet and taksim using different metro with no change in the metro the veiw from the 7 floor was amazing with sea view and the place have all type of facilities, shopes around, restaurants etc. highly recommend. staff were helpful too
