We received a warm welcome during check-in. The rooms were very big and comfortable, although we found a dirty pillowcase and sheets. However, reception responded quickly to our request for a change. The sea view was beautiful, perfect for both sunrise and sunset. Overall, everything was good. Unfortunately, breakfast options were very limited. We went out at 7 PM and returned to the hotel at midnight to find no parking available. The guard on duty, a Singh gentleman, was busy on the phone and asked us to double park, promising to call in the morning, which was not satisfactory. We waited for about 10 minutes until a car left and we could park. Additionally, the lift service was slow and could use an upgrade. On a positive note, check-out was really fast. Overall, our stay was pleasant, with just a few areas needing improvement. Thank you.

If you’re looking for a comfortable yet inexpensive accommodation on the beach this is definitely a good place to stay. The hotel building is dated and is especially noticeable along the hotel corridors however the rooms are very comfortable. There are 2 types of rooms, one with a little living room attached and another studio unit. All rooms come with a large balcony so you will always have a view of the sea, even if some rooms may not have a full view of the sea. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom has a bath tub and the little kitchenette provided is perfect to make a hot drink. The best thing about this hotel is that it’s situated right on the beach and it features a pretty cool beach bar with fun fire shows that entertain guests while they enjoy dinner. The few things that I wasn’t too happy about is the overall cleanliness which should be improved, the food (since this hotel does not have an in house kitchen, they depend on outside catering) definitely needs to be looked into. They have a tiny cafe at the lobby which is never open. My last 3 stays I’ve never once seen it functioning .The last time we stayed there and had the breakfast, we wound up with diarrhoea. The other thing that definitely needs to be looked into is the enforcement of proper swim wear while swimming. The hotel doesn’t bother about following proper swimming etiquette despite having a sign that indicates that all guest should be in proper swimming attire. To sum up, if you’re looking to hang out by the beach and just chill, this place works. If you’re looking for the proper hotel experience then you’ll need to go elsewhere.
For those who are completely ok with the price, and do not expect anything extra, this place is perfect. Close to the beach, which is not very clean. There is a famous beach bar called laguna Bay which is open to public. Service is appalling. Staff are there just to do their job. Don't expect anything extra from the malaysian staffs. The foreigners who are general workers have more courtesy. The Malaysians are not trained to handle guest. We had a staff at the pool towel counter scold my daughter for coming to use the pool 15 mins before closing. The sofa in our room was so dated, that when u sit on it, you feel insects biting you. When we called to ask for a cover over the sofa, the first thing the staff says is that it will be charged. The second day, they didn't clean the room and when asked they said they forgot coz too many check ins. Mr Lingges who is a manager came over and handled the situation well. There's so many more,but I'll stop here.

1, the original rainbow paradise hotel management is need to update the clear information to all guests who chosen your service, may not confused between you and the private management. Caused they have the RM300 damage deposit and RM100 car card deposit to car management, it was shocked me when I was arrived in evening, and asked for additional invisible fees in cash for it, named Rainbow Paradise Hotel, then after only knew that it is under different company. The hotels' title in whole Malaysia, they will have reasonable check in stay deposit RM50-RM200 to 1-6 stars. 2, those sofa/cushion, need to clean up with cushion liquid cleaner, make it look*clean and comfortable to sit, not old and dirt marks image. 3, the first impression is important, the room's door advice to make new wood paint in dark walnut for welcoming the guests, if compared to the private management in black door. 4, If the title for hotel & resort with service, the update menu with simple cuisines for room service is needed for Europe and Asia visitors . To upgrade your current service. More provided, more great business. 5, Observation to the guests, mostly are welcoming for family with kids, the operation hour for kids snacks with reasonable prices, are more good business to you, the cafe beside the pool. 8am-12pm, 2pm-6pm from Fri to Sun, and public & school holidays. 6, the storage beside the basement and storage beside the laguna bay beach bar (beside under the trees), please clean up with tiny image, for worldwide visitors.
