Kelantan State hotels & places to stay

I had made my booking several weeks before and had made a written request for a baby crib for my baby. When I arrived, three people helped my wife and baby out of our car and took our luggage ouy. A man opened the door for me with a warm smile and welcome. The receptionists were very efficient and courteous. When we got to our room, it was very clean and very tastefully decorated! I was most surprised with the gorgeous baby crib that they had prepared for us even before we arrived! The food was good and all their staff smiled and greeted us everytime we crossed paths. This is by far the best hotel in Kelantan. It's even way better than many so-called 5-star hotels in Malaysia.

Grand Riverview Hotel is a good Hotel for medium class hotel. Grand Riverview Hotel in Kelantan supply with standard facilities for my business trip need or couple, reasonable hotel rate and located in the center of the city and easy to move around the city. Restaurant with local, Chinese and western food are available with value for money. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful with excellent hospitality. Do not try TOM YAM soup if you cant take hot and spicy food.

Surprisingly to have such a high quality hotel found in Kelantan which location not too far off from Kota Bahru town (~50KM). What attracted me most is the landscaping of the hotel which made it beautiful and serene. The room is clean and generous space and facing the lake. It offer much activities and services that made the stay more enjoyable such as canoeing, pedal boats, cycling and even paintball which are suitable from young children to adults. For those beach lovers, the location of this hotel is at one of the most beautiful beaches i found so far in Kelantan. it's clean and less access to the public which means it like almost exclusively for the hotel guest. the only con I see is that you may have to walk a distance if you are given a room far from the lobby. So you may try to ask for room which not too far away.

I would like to give the credit to the friendly gotel staff. I check in a bit earlier but they still try their best to get me the room within 20 minutes. They also allow me to have a late check out the next day. Breakfast is a suprise! All i expect is a normal internatiol buffet but they even serve Kelantan famous dishes like Nasi Dagang and Laksam, and they are really authentic and delicious! Room is a bit old but still in good condition. I will definately stay here again next time!

The locality of hotel near to attractive places such as shopping mall, domestic day and night market with give travellers some good memory of visiting Kelantan. Besides that the hotel also provides the guest with other facilities as well such free internet connection.However to make it more convenience for the hotel guests,the management should provides more parking spaces.

I stayed 6d5n in standard room , room is clean , cupboard was spacious for a single guest like me, grab was really easy , coin laundry just around the corner (take grab around RM4). KB MALL is very near ... there were days i can't go out to buy food as i have a lot of work to finish .. i just ask the reception to order food for me from the stall nearby, they'll deliver the food to your room . i even order kfc for delivery ..so fast .. the WIFI so fast 4 Mb above . no hassle for me to have video meeting with my team . compare to **ne Hotel last time I stayed ... this is cheap n awesome ...

The staff is very helpful, trying their best to accommodate to our needs. The location is strategic, since it is near to tourist attractions where you can walk to such as Pasar Siti Khadijah, Bazaar Tok Guru, Kelantan State Museum. The hotel have lift facility, no worries if you carry a heavy baggage or travels with senior people. They have breakfast buffet or maybe you want in-room service. Also got WiFi in rooms. The room is clean and have coffee table. So, enjoy your trip! For me, overall is good.

We booked a room at villa Danialla on our way to the Perhentian islands. We just wanted a bed for the night and a quick dip in the swimming pool for the kids but we got much much more. First, the room are huge, the bathroom is huge. We liked that very much. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The ladies who cook and serve at the restaurant are really taking care of the guests. The food was very nice. The chicken, chicks and other ducks run around the resort freely before ending in the guests' plates. Truly free range and organic chicken on the menu! We ate mainly local dishes and did not leave anything in our plates. The breakfast is a buffet and offers a large selection of dishes "western" and local. We all (3-yr old, 5-yr old and parents) found something to enjoy. The 3-yr liked the roti canai best. The kids played on the beach whilst the parents finished their breakfast in the restaurant - it opens on the beach. We found this place so relaxing that we decided to stop there again for the night on the way back from the Perhentian islands. And again, we were very pleased with how spacious and nicely furnished our room was. If I had known before, I would have booked a longer stay there and travelled from there to various places of interests. We will certainly come back and do that! We will again come with our own car as the place is not located in a town.

I arrived the hotel in the morning and the receptionist was very nice to let me check in early instead of the actual check in 2pm. I was grateful abt it bcoz I was very tired n needed a place to rest before my work start afternoon. The room wasn't big, but it has a very big window to allow natural lights and a very cosy bed to make me feel good staying here. The room has basic amenities but to my surprise, it has ample hanging place to hang our clothes n towels properly. I could feel owner take very good care of the hotel, the cleanliness was superb. There is this lady receptionist, she is very friendly, always get guests with a gentle smile, n it made guests feel welcome. Breakfast was a surprise, since it's a 3 stars hotel,but they served more than 3 stars serviced, varied food daily. one extra to note....myst try the best coffee I ever had , just opposite of the hotel. It's an authentic hainanese coffee shop serving very very good coffee. MUST try.

The best rate and room you can get if you are travelling solo or backpacking. Hotel room is spacious and comfy compare to other hotel in the area. Basic utilities and toiletries provided and bedsheet will be change, everyday. There is a water heater inside the room and the toilet quite luxurious for solo traveller, will be heaven for backpackers. Stated in the middle of the city, there are shopping mall nearby in a walking distance and 7 eleven across the street. Although it is near the main road, the noises is not bothersome inside the room. Wireless internet speed is decent as it is 3 star hotel. Will be staying here again if I happen to be in the nearby area.

I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE TO STAY AT G HOME HOTEL.GOOD LOCATION AND NICE NIGHT VIEW INFRONT OF HOTEL.THE LOCATION IS VERY NEAR TO THE FAMOUS PASAR SITI KHATIJAH,SHOPPING BAZAARS AND MUSEUM.THE EXCELLENT OF STAFFS PROVIDED GOOD SERVICES , MANAGEMENT IS GOOD AND VALUE OF MONEY.THE ROOM IS VERY CLEAN AND THE DESIGN OF THE ROOM IS VERY NICE ,ESPECIALLY WITH THE HOTEL THEME COLOUR - GREEN COLOUR- THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE TOO... OVERALL IS GOOD ... :0) I WILL CHOOSE THIS G HOME HOTEL AT NEXT COMING KOTA BHARU,KELANTAN.

I live in Kota Bharu where interruption of water supply is frequent. So this hotel is our escape place because it is cheap - RM30 - RM80 per night. We love the superior room with window because it is a little bit spacious with Sg Kelantan view. During Ramadhan, we dont have to think about what to eat, where to buy because this hotel is equip with room service and the food is delicious. Overall, will come again if there is no water supply again in our house. Haha

it is value for money for those who plan to have a sea side family trip. with the one star price u can enjoy a five stars alike beach resort. me and my family were having alot of fun time staying at pcb resort which located at the famous pantai cahaya bulan beach. the family room was very spacious with one double bed and two single bed. the thing that surprice to me is the room we stay are so near to the beach. you can hear the waves sound during your sleep at night. that was so relaxing. it come with 3 free buffer breakfast at the morning as well, where they will prepare the breakfast hot to serve you freshly. staffs are all very friendly and helpful, and we have our sunrise beach walk at 7am. they also have a swimming pool, but it abit less maintain that time. overall, i will definately go back to pcb resort again next time if im going to kota bahru.

Reception was in a self service laundry as mentioned by other guests. The owner and staff member were waiting for our arrival. The staff member took us to the apartment. To our surprise it was the family room even though we only booked a twin. The rooms are large enough for the double and 2 single beds. The kitchen is simple however with the microwave you can cook your own meals. Bathroom was clean and had very good water pressure. Slight problems with the internet however nothing to worry about. I would highly recommend Best Guest House.

The hotel façade was attractive and charming as is the reception area reminding one of a bygone era. The room is simple with lovely curtains but it comes with a phone, air-con, tv, ironing facilities, mini-bar and tea/coffee/ hot water. more importantly the room and bathroom is very clean. We stayed for two days and the breakfast menu for those two days was different so we definitely enjoyed the food selection. The ambiance was great as the restaurant was on the top floor giving an excellent view of the Kelantan River and surrounding area. The staff was very polite, pleasant and helpful. We definitely had a great stay at the hotel.

Though a basic budget hotel, everything works. Though there are no dining or coffee facilities, there is a good basic restaurant next door amd a supermarket a few doors away. Mr and Mrs Chiew were very helpful hosts who did their best to make me welcome after a long bike-ride from Kota Bharu. I recommend the Welcome Inn to anyone who wishes to break the long journey to or from the East Coast.

You will be stayed in a studio apartment for the pay of a normal hotel room's rate. Park your vehicle at the basement for free of charge with the eyeing of security guards. This hotel is located in the heart of Kota Bharu city, so for those who staying without own transport, so easy to get public taxi/bus as well as the amenities are surrounding you e.g. restaurants, 7-11, retail shops, pharmacies, clinics, shopping complexes, etc. The landlord will entertain you via WhatsApp after your booking confirmed, which includes maps to the hotel and other locations of interests. My family and I were staying for 2 nights. The cleanliness is superb and this studio apartment is completed with full facilities. I recommend it to everyone. Cheers.

The space is big and suitable for family. Even though the room is big the air conditioning is still able to cover the room. The moment we step into the room we can see the staff really kept the room clean. The bathroom is big & comfortable. Overall its a very nice place to stay at Pasir Puteh Kelantan since the "NEGERI" is well known for its outdated and very poor hygiene.

My stay was very memorable, interesting and nice. Stay here is the best choice because there have many parking for cars, quiet surrounding, very comfortable room even for standard room, included with many facilities in the room like Television, air conditioning , not share bathroom, cabinet, hanger, cup, spoon and plate and towel. We also can ask for iron from the staff and their service very fast. 5 minutes only. At counter area, they sell mineral water and etc and this really make us happy because it makes easier to us when at night to get cold water. We also can choose either want to tidy our room or not. Everything was interesting here. Thank You Menara One Hotel give the lowest price with good services and well facilitated hotel to us. I will stay here again and come back to Kelantan again and again.

We stayed chalet even we booked standard double though. Receptionists speak English though,others don't speak English. But they tried to help us and treat us kindly and friendly. Facilities are quite old. Swimming pool is not clean ,coz of low season. Room seems ok but we found 4of big cockroaches. hotel is far from Main Street. But you can go to beach like private only 5mins walk. And sometimes some staff bring us to Main Street by car. I am sure if I go again ,I'll stay there again.
