Mugla Province hotels & places to stay

Very good hotel, we enjoyed our stay, breakfast buffet could do with up grading quality of foods, for example the cured meats very not good and tasted like rubber with no flavour. Salad was brown and old, crossiants, pain au chocolate and pastures were the worst I’ve seen for years, pre bought, soft, soggy, taste less and old. Also the “healthy” corner was small bowls of raw broccoli and cauliflower with low fat bought yoghurts. Not good enough and we expected higher quality foods. Hot itmes were also poor quality and taste.

Pros- there are lots of pros ref this hotel, rooms spacious, new and great shower comfortable bed and free WiFi and free aircon which is normally charged for in turkey. Staff are all family and can’t do enuf for you. Always accomadation and attention to detail in service was great. Breakfast was amazing, Buffett of olives, bread, egg, tomato, cucumber, cheese, cereal etc and also you can request omelette or eggs French toast etc at no extra cost. Evening meal is very reasonable comes with a full Buffett of salads and soup followed by hot meal and a dessert. Pool area beautiful very very clean and lovely serene gardens surrounding it. No noisy guests all respectful and quiet. Bar was cheap. Dolumus bus leaves straight from outside the hotel going to Fethiye and to calis beach. Fethiye is beautiful quiet and relaxing lots of shops restaurants, we booked azur boat trip several times direct with boat. Cons- room wasn’t cleaned whilst we where there and had to ask for new towels

So we were already disappointed with our hotel in instanbul and thought nothing would go right from there. But we were wrong. The hospitality we got right after stepping in El Vino made us feel special and the team actually listens to your needs and concerns and give genuine suggestion. The manager is an amazing and soulful lady. The owner upgraded our room and the Decor was legit(since they knew we were on our honeymoon). The cookie time was from 5-6pm and the sitting area was right besides the pool which was very soothing and on top of that the cookie time was free of charge. Three days at EL Vino made our honeymoon memorable and specially we highly recommend if anyone is traveling to Bodrum they should plan their stay at El Vino the location is accessible to all main attractions. And if you're a pet lover you'll find KiKi the dog there, cute kiki :D El Vino thank you for making our honeymoon so special. A must visit for everyone. Cant wait to be back again. love Wajiha & Ali

Kuum is a high-end resort style hotel and SPA. The prices are of a luxury resorts all over the world, and is completely everything it advertises. Contemporary, lavish and over the top rooms with a private beach and pier! Free breakfast buffets and restaurants are amazing and bursting with Mediterranean flavors. The staff was very attentitive to us as guests. If they do not speak english, they will find someone who does on staff to help serve you better. If you are a non guest and want to use their facilities, ie: private beach, pier, and beverages, there is a minimum fee of 100TL (which roughly changes to $60). Easily spent while waiting next to the water! This would be the perfect place for a romantic getaway

Best hospitality by the hotel. The Guest relationship manager Clarrise had informed the kitchen for our specific food requirements. The kitchen team including the chef were courteous and humble enough to prepare Jain meal for us as per our requirements. Very huge and beautiful property. Really loved their hospitality and service. Would love to visit again..... Thank you Clarrise and team for the special treatment.

This was the best hotel we had on our entire trip to Turkey - based on the price I paid - the rooms, hotel, service, and the location is excellent and better than my expectations. Initially I was confused between Tonoz and Liberty Hotel while booking and upon looking at the location for both I'd say I made a better decision. However - do keep in mind you can no longer take your near the hotel and need to park a bit far (this might be a problem if you have heavy luggage) and it's a paid parking.

We stayed in king suite for 2 weeks. Hotel is stunning, boutique gallery hotel. The fixture & fittings are exceptional quality and everything you could want in a high class hotel is here. King suite has a huge bathroom with shower & hamam, it has twinkling lights on the ceiling. View from the room is out of this world, right across the whole of Fethiye Bay. Only downside is that it’s at the top of a steep hill, but we use to walk into town and taxi back and it’s only 10 lira (£2) so worth it for the spectacular views. Beautiful breakfast is included and the restaurant is fabulous. We ate regular here and the waiters & chefs could not do enough for you, the owner Halil organised Lobster & scallops one evening, heaven! Halil is extremely hands on in the hotel and if there was anything you thought wasn’t right or you required something he got it done, excellent service. Last but by no means least, bar staff. Extremely friendly and lots fun, cocktails amazing. I cannot wait to return!

Our stay was wonderful! The hotel is perfectly situated in Bodrum. You can reach the water within 3 minutes by foot. There are also lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The rooftop is the best part of the hotel. The view and breakfast each morning were spectacular. It was also a great place to watch the sunset with drinks. The rooms are very clean and chic. The pool was excellent. Last but not least, the staff were very friendly and eager to help make our stay enjoyable.

i have traveled to over 40 countries and stayed in the best of hotels & resorts. this hotel was something else! magical, ethereal, beautiful resort hotel perched on a cliff over barbaros bay! the interiors are superlative; the architecture 10/10. the mood-lighting of the landscaped poolside and gardens are what coffee-table books are made of. the staff extremely friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. the food & beverage choices and spread was also exceptional. but i will hesitate going to the property again. one evening i took the hotel elevator down to their marina & was walking towards the hotel pier. it was a wonderful sunset, i had a pocket camera & was about to take a photograph from the pier. i was stopped by the hotel security guard saying that a saudi sheikh's private yacht was berthed in the barbaros bay and i could not point my camera towards the bay! he consulted the hotel management upon my insistence that how can a hotel stop a guest from clicking the sea/nature. no reasoning- was turned back. moral of the story - kempinski values the saudi sheikh's business more than that of individual small-spender!

Overall we have been quite happy with our stay. The location is very good, the sea is beautiful. The beach on the hotel side gets quite windy at times (which probably is great during hotter days of the summer, but was a bit cool for us in September) and is not sandy, while the village side is excellent. Getting there can be a bit challenging with small kids, but definitely worth the effort. It's a bit annoying that the all-inclusive hotel stay does not cover water and food on the village side though. Personnel is very friendly and helpful in general. Our only negative experience was the intense cigarette stink in the baby cot we were given. It was surprising that they could even put that in our room as there was a huge smoke stain on the side, and a terrible stink that covered the whole room. But it was replaced right away when asked. Also the lift area (which we had to use for buggies) was quite dirty, leftovers from room service lying around sometimes for days (not really hygienic).

This hotel is right at the bayfront of Fethiye, 1 min walking distance to boats. The coffee machine inside the room is superb and breakfast is way above average. If we have to say some shortage, the room is a little bit small for two people. But who will stay in the room all day at Fethiye?? BTW, there are lots of taxi outside the hotel, so no worries about the transfer at all.

There is good and bad with this hotel as with any, but the bad really burned ME BC I didn't experience this in any other hotels in Turkey. This hotel overlooks an abandoned building site which wouldn't bother me were it not for the fact that they offer no beach towels while being a beach resort. Not only do they not offer beach towels, they don't give extra bath towels for pool use. They also lack any sort of agreement with the people who run the beach loungers to alow hotel guests access. To me, this is a joke. Maybe I'm being overly passionate about beach towels but I've never been to a place that expected holiday travellers to fill their precious suitcase space with towels, not in a beach resort town where I am staying in a hotel rather than a camp site anyway. On the plus, the staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is spotless, the rooms are spacious and modern with balconies, and it is a 2 minute walk from the beach and all the action on the board walk. Had they ponied up with towels I would have given 4 stars.

Very nice hotel. Good location to be based for exploring the area. Good views to the sea, but not on the beach. Probably a good thing as the beach is very crowded and noisy (loud music etc). This is a relaxing place, good to get away from the bustle of the beach and town centre. You have to be prepared for a short car journey or 15 min walk to get to the sea (where the hotel has a private beach area) the tranquillity and views of the location compensate for that. The alternative appears to be out of town resorts, which are a long way from anything. This is a good balance between being in the town, but not too close to the crowds. The pool is very nice. Good size, very clean, good quality wooden furniture with nice cotton cushions. Staff were all good and very helpful. The main restaurant for dinner also have wonderful views of the sea and the hills. Breakfast also by the pool with nice views. Good selection, particularly the fresh squeezed orange juice, other fresh fruits, fresh breads, omelettes (don't expect to get bacon/pork but that is going to be hard to find I expect). Overall, excellent. Ask for a room with a view, which most it looks like.

Had a lovely stay at yunak zakros- very peaceful and relaxing. Spent most days chilling by the pool, which has wonderful ocean views. Burak, the hotel manager, really looked after us and was very helpful whenever we wanted to leave the hotel and was happy to book is taxis and give us ideas for planning the day. Definitely would recommend this hotel of you are looking for a relaxing week! We will be coming back!

I highly recommend this hotel. We booked a room with a mountain view, but when we got there they gave us a room with a sea view with same price. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Loved the breakfast, so delicious. We had so much fun at the swimming pool. The hotel is 1 min or 2 walking distance to Ölüdeniz beach in a vibrant yet quiet area (don’t know how to explain it). We just loveddddd it.

This is my second time stayed with Exclusive City Hotel and overall i am satisfying with it. We booked a attached room for two couples ,the room i got is rather compact than the another room. The ventilation of the bathroom and room is poor, floor is not cleaned well as your feet will get dark if walking barefoot. The shower pressure and temperature is good. The sound insulation is really bad as you can easily hear the voice from next door and also the loud music from the pub street beneath especially weekends night. Breakfast same as last time i visited, variety and delicious. I will still book this hotel next time but maybe book the grand deluxe room will be better.

this hotel far surpassed my expectations. the location was perfect... everyone knew where it was. according to the locals this was one of the best hotels in the area - and it was not too expensive at all! it was very convenient, right next to restaurants, convenience stores, and the beach... they upgraded me to a beach view room as soon as they knew one was available. extremely clean room, restaurant served delicious food. cannot recommend enough... perfect hotel in the quaint town of fethiye!
