Papua Province hotels & accommodations
Here is the Best one in Papua, clean and near supermarket, well try n feel it...
Hotel Swissbel Papua is one of my favorites Hotel ever in Papua after Rimba Papua Hotel in Timika. The Staff is very friendly and respectful. Room are great neat and orderly, Happy to return some other time.
Swiss-Belhotel Merauke is the best hotel in Merauke. The location is in the center of the city, and only 15 minutes to the airport. The room is clean and it has many friendly staffs. It has nice swimming pool and good gym.
The location was great, you can reach many ATMs, food stall, and Garuda Indonesia office within walking distance. The room a little small and the facilities are very average. The rooftop bar still under construction but I think it will be great. Maybe the hotel should have operational car to pick up and drop guest from airport with lower price than local taxi.
Staff was very helpful and even helped to negotiate the taxi price for me to the airport. What I really appreciate the hotel doing was their policy to reduce plastic bottles by installing water dispensers in the corridors and provided glass jugs to the rooms. The only bad thing about the hotel is that their walls are quite thin and i could hear the ballroom above my fl...
Grand Tembaga is a growing hotel located in the heart of Timika. Nice Clean Room with workiing Hot Water and a nice local hospitality.
I love the people at this hotel, the beautiful setting, and the peaceful, seafront vibe. I stayed here when it was the Hotel Irian and they've done a good job with the upgrades - lovely pool, nice terraces, nice meeting room - without losing the character of this place, which was built by KLM back when Papua was a Dutch colony. The airport noises - including the sire...

Manager help to manage high seasonality in good manner
The staff were nice and most spoke English. We speak enough Indonesian so it wasn't a big deal. We came back from Wamena earlier than our booking, but we were able to book an extra night (at a New Year's price). The spa was very nice after four days trekking. The pool was ok, a bit dirty and often crowded with kids and nannies. The room was great! Very clean, comfortab...
Old fashioned style hotel. The Executive room have great layout and cleanliness, but the facilities and amenities are standard. Good hotel for a small town like Timika, there are ATMs at the hotelparking lot. Lot of food stall nearby.
The location is in the middle of town. Lota of choice of foods in walking distance. The cleanliness of towel and bedsheet are bad.
.私はこのホームステイを皆さんにおすすめします。 This homestay is the perfect accommodation.I think the pleasure of traveling for me is that going to interesting place, meeting people, and enjoying local food. This homestay helped me perfectly. Ms.Yuly, the staff of this homestay, arranged everything. Also, her kindest family suppported me.In this trip, I went to lake, sea, and saw the ...
I had no choice but to stay at the Timika Inda as the Rimba was full , I must say thanks to the young lady receptionist that looked after me very well , She done a great job , I had no WIFI meals were none existant other than Nasi Gorang that was ok . Each morning of my three days I was woken up by much noise and banging furniture being moved around and speakes being ...
The first room i was given stank like urine and mould, and the second one(which i took) had a moudly bedstand, ants and spiders on the bed, a toilet that does not flush unless done manually in the water tank itself, and floors which had slippery and sticky residue from "cleaning". Additionally, the closet was old and full of cobwebs and extremely dirty and the bathroom...
We had a problem with cockroaches in the bathroom. We also had problems with the toilet that wouldn't flush on occasion. However, as seasoned travelers in Asia, we took in in our stride. By comparison, we've stayed in much worse. The food was great and the pool most welcome.
The staff tried to charge me double when I was checking out i argued for 20min. They dont speak english, but that is to expect in that area. The resteurant is definetly a place to keep away from if you want good food and normal price! The price for six pieces of fried bitesize squid, plain with nothing on the side. And a juice put me back a whopping 115 000RP!! ...
Staff was superb and went above and beyond for us, including allowing us free long-distance phone calls. Hotel itself is brand new and rooms reflect this. A clean, business-class hotel in Jayapura, which is much needed. WiFi only downstairs in lobby, not in room. TV does have a few English channels, although mostly news. Location is good and safe. Much recommended!
Reception seemed unorganized, no experience with e-vouchers, tryed to start my bluethooth without giving any information. ( i need to know what is going in and out from my phone!) Dont speak any english so bring a phrasebook. Breakfast is ok with rice, omelette, vegetablesoup and white bread. I feel this hotel is more for business then for tourist. Location is not grea...
it was 3 night stay for my business trip in Jayapura. As a local hotel, the standard is very high to becampared to star-chain hotels: cleanliness, staff performance and location. Food they served was also excellence and internet connection was very reliable
Room was small. Toilet crash on shower. I notice of non smoking room but placed in smoking room, with all components include linen smells of smoke. Staff very kind. Breakfast standard hotel. Location is fine
I like staying in this hotel, the only thing that was lacking: window cannot be open. The rest were great.
