"Best part was getting hot water - it can be chilly in Salento. Rooms are clean and spacious. No air-conditioning but you really don't need it. Location was OK as Salento is very small and everything is walking distance. They have a great tour operator near the lobby for booking hiking activities in the Cocoro Valley. "

"Perfect in every way;) My original booking of 2 days was actually extended to almost an entire week because it began to feel like home. The architecture itself is impressive- lots of wood & stone, & plenty of showers/banos throughout the facility- at no time did I have to wait. Free coffee is available all day, which was a real plus for me. Here you can find private rooms or dorms- I opted for the dorm & the beds are very solid, so you don't get a lot of movement & noise anytime sometime comes or goes. The views are spectacular & there are plenty of places to grab a seat & sit in solitude or join others. I really liked the location because it's close to the center, but just enough distance from the main square to remain peaceful & quiet at night. Staff was great, etc. I will definitely return!"

"The staff at Eliana were great from start to finish and helped make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Communicating in a mixture of Spanish and English we stayed in one room which was really cozy and then some more nights in the apartment so that we could do some cooking for ourselves. Jesus the manager (perfect English) was extremely accomodating and made sure we were happy with our sleeping arrangements. The food is TOP quality too, the curries are fantastic and the garlic naan bread is arguably the best we've ever had. You're also close to everything which is a bonus - Salento is a chilled little town so noise isn't really an issue. Would highly recommend it to anyone."
