"Second time in Istanbul and this time our target was the gelata tower area and this hotel put us within a five minute walk of the bridge and therefore a choice of walking up the hill or taking transport. We like our feet on the ground as we don’t miss a thing and although it was strenuous To walk we managed on the 3 days to get around most of the area given that we are 65 and 69 respectively. Hotel lived up to expectations and the staff were excellent as are the furnishings."

"I come once a month to Istanbul and I think for the amount of money I’ve paid, this is one of the best stay so far. Nothing special about the room, cleanliness was ok. There was an issue with the shower head, I told the staff and he got it fixed within 10 minutes. The cleaning ladies comes daily to clean the rooms. There is an elevator in the building guest can use. But sometimes if others do not close the door properly before leaving, then the elevator gets stucked on that floor which is a minor pain. For the amount of money I paid, the breakfast spread is amazing. Really fills you up for the day’s activities."

Toilet is very clean. Owner and staff are very nice and helpful. Location is great. I really like the restaurants nearby. But there is no air conditioner in the room,so it's really hot in the afternoon and after shower. I suggest part of the single rooms could be equiped with AC and part of them just with fan inside. Then the guests can make choice while booking. Anyway I will choose Erenler Hostel again next time I go to Istanbul."
