I have been to Swissbel for a couple of times. It's only a 5 to 10 mins walk from Harbourbay Ferry terminal which is extremely convenient for us. Taking a grab to nagoya hill is very convenient and cheap as well. the grab drivers are always surrounding the hotel. The hotel has a small pool, sauna and a gym as well. It's also 5 to 10 mins walking distance from Wey Wey seafood.. and other restaurants. We booked into the deluxe room realizing there isn't any bathtubs so we asked for an upgrade, paid additional and got upgraded. The breakfast is exceptional, the spread is really good :) will definitely come back to stay.

1. Location is perfect as it’s walkable from the ferry terminal. 2. Breakfast spread is worth it. 3. Staff are amazing. 4. Massage was ok but beds to be able to support the head when one is lying down. All I had was a regular pillow which made the expert uncomfortable. 5. Massage options were 60,90,120 minutes. However, I got told that 120 minutes was too long by both the receptionist and the masseuse. If they feel this is a long service they shouldn’t be offering it as an option. This did not make me want to recommend the massage place and one can try other places for a better experience. 5. Check in/out was smooth. 6. Rooms could be cleaner. In as much as our room was made up early enough, it was not throughly done. There was dust on one corner and some paper/receipts on the floor that were never picked for the duration of our stay.

Checking in was completed speedily without delay. The room was spacious, clean and complimentary toiletries provided. Housekeeping was top-notch and the room was serviced daily. There was a spa, gym and swimming pool which was so welcoming after a day of sight-seeing. My family and I made use of the gym and pool frequently. These facilities were well kept and clean. The breakfast spread was quite extensive - ranging from local delights to international cuisines to suit the cosmopolitan travellers. I had an emergency during my 5-day stay at Swiss Belhotel. The manager and front desk staff were very compassionate and thoughtful, arranging transport to and from hotel for me to seek treatment. For several days, I was on a light diet and my meal was well taken care of. I felt ‘pampered’ to sip the specially prepared ginger tea prepared by the F & B staff during breakfast. My family and I had a memorable stay at Swiss Belhotel. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay at this hotel again when we visit Batam. May I take this opportunity to mention the following staff, whom I encountered and dealt with during my stay. They are: Danang, Reni, Dion, Riska, Tasya, Veronika, Monang, Dudung, Andika.
