Staying in Weil was one of the best you can get in Ipoh”
I stayed for a night in a mini concept room on 12th floor. We enjoyed our complimentary access and small bites in the club lounge. The ambiance was superb but I think it would be great to lower the temperature slightly. Although it was pouring out there , the lounge was quite warm. The Deck Gastrobar and swimming pool, or I would say entire rooftop was reserved for wedding reception and dinner. Congratulations to the new weds. Although we did not manage to use the rooftop facilities on a Saturday, we tweaked our plans and enjoyed the panorama pool the next morning while enjoying a not exactly perfect sunrise. My previous visit was not exactly the perfect experience but this time hotel management really did well to ensure my experience was well taken care of. Hotel management connected with me on periodic basis to understand my needs which exceed my expectation. Check in process was seamless. I was assisted by courteous Yi Tong previously and this time, Hii Qian. I could tell that they smiled behind their masks, knowledgeable in their product knowledge. Keep up the good work. The room size was rather similar to regular room but nicely decorated with matching paintings, vases and wall tiles. The bath was working perfectly this time and we really enjoyed it. Breakfast was excellent as usual. A lot of people walked around Tiffin and the staffs were quick with their limbs to clean tables for next patrons. No waiting time during busy hours and I really appreciate all the hard work, dedication and training on the staff.

We stayed for 5 nights in Weil and decided to upgrade to concept floor cozy room which a king bed was available. I think we made a good choice to stay here. Our stay was comfy as we both slept very well, our room was quiet and I was very happy for many things - I could mirrored my phone to the tv for Netflix, The tub was deep soaking kinda type, so do bring your own bath salt for the tub., The water is hot! So that’s what it takes for a good soak in the tub! The cocktail session and snacks were a treat indeed. We didn’t made it to breakfast everyday (blame the comfy bed) that’s ok as room service and the roof bar food are there if we decided to eat in., Lastly, there is a space for one to work and study which I am grateful for. Not a mall person but I did walk around on my last day. If Ipoh is your next holiday to be, I would recommend you to stay here for that comfort and relaxing stay + the location is close to massage joints, hidden bars and restaurants which was also what I like and to my hubby he is very happy that the Muay Thai gym recommended to him is good is not far and easy to book for evening sessions. Thanks Weil, a good stay for us but the parking was the only hiccup we had during check out.

Angelina (front desk) called to check our 2 night stay before we checked out the next morning. She apologized for the inconvenience that we have during our stay after my feedback. The hotel is next to the shopping mall. The location is close to Ipoh popular eateries. You could walk or take a grab to Lou Wong Chicken and Tauge, etc. The hotel breakfast spread was very good. Though it's crowded, the staff was efficient to guide us to an available table quickly on Sunday morning. The welcome lemonade drink is perfect as we checked in. The room is spacious, The shampoo, conditioner and body wash with lemon grass flavor were excellent. We stayed at Level 7, and we heard like dragging of heavy stuff at different times of the day and night like 2am (Monday morning). Frankly, I was puzzled. I felt that the bed and pillows were hard for us. I dont expect them to change the bed. However, I appreciated Angeline, front desk for her service recovery, she told her housekeeping staff to send 4 other pillows to our room and try it out within 1 hour. We managed to get the softer pillows for the 2nd night stay. She offered us a late check out till 2pm the next day so that we can sleep in longer. I accepted it to affirm her service attention. Though I don't need it as I checked out before 11.30am the next day. I suggested that the rooms to be installed with USB ports so that guests can charge their mobile devices instead. Angelina replied that the company may look at providing the chargers as a future option. I am happy to offer my feedback cos I think Weil Hotel can do better and I hope to come back in the near future. Hope the feedback will help the guests using Agoda to book their hotel stay.

Rooms are big and clean but when we first checked in, there was smell of smoke.. TV was a bit difficult to use. Needed to play around with the controller buttons. Volume is preset and is very soft. Hotel is connected to the shopping centre so it’s convenient if it rains and you have nowhere to go. Walkable to Tong Shui Kai which has nice hawker food. Food at the hotel’s cantonese restaurant is good and reasonably priced. The staff at the restaurant are helpful and friendly Breakfast at the Cafe was ok. Staff friendly too. Overall happy with my stay.
